Who We Are

AvantGuard Security Solutions Limited is a Nigerian security solutions outfit. It is an innovative and dynamic company that prides itself as a one-stop-shop for providing a wide range of security and safety services. We are packaged and equipped to deliver excellent security services where and when required. Incorporated in December 2004, the company has been involved in maritime security since the drive for Nigeria’s International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) code compliance was officially kicked off sometime in December 2003.

In April 2005 AvantGuard was granted a license to operate as an RSO in the maritime industry by the then Designated Authority (DA) for ISPS Code implementation, the Presidential Implementation Committee on Maritime Safety and Security (PICOMSS).Following the dissolution of PICOMSS in 2013, AvantGuard was engaged by the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), the current DA as the Lead RSO to help institute and drive the current ISPS Code implementation program.

At the end of the day, effective security service delivery comes down to management and coordination of all components that make up a security structure and that is what we promise.
