INTRODUCTION:

This course has been designed to prepare operators for maritime security operations on board any type of vessel from private luxury motor cruisers, to massive bulk oil/cargo vessels. The remainder of the course concentrates on tactical firearms, covering areas such as room clearing, suspect searching, securing and processing, first aid and planning.

The Anti-Piracy course is suitable for persons seeking to build on their portfolio of Personal Professional Development (PPD) within the Maritime Security Industry. There is no prior experience required to enroll on the Anti-Piracy course, however a basic knowledge of literacy and numeracy are required due to course content. Ex forces personal and security professionals with Hostile Environment Experience are practically suited to the Anti-Piracy and Maritime Security role.

QUALIFICATION:

Successful candidates will achieve a certificate, approved by NIMASA and Transport Malta.
